Hey, it’s Wednesday! But you already knew that.
What you may not have known is that every Wednesday – and not just during the holiday season – Wantzit gives a gift to a user from her/his wishlist.
And what you definitely didn’t know (unless you happen to be Greg in British Columbia, Canada) is that this week’s winner is… Greg, in British Columbia, Canada.
Upholding Canada’s reputation for cleanliness (if not necessarily Godliness) Greg asked for – and shall receive – soap.
It’s really cool soap, though.

The fastest and easiest way to add items to your Wantzit list is via bookmarklet. A bookmarklet is a little button on your browser’s bookmarks bar that allows you to add any web page to your wishlist with a single click – it takes just seconds to install and then, whenever you’re browsing on the web and see something you like, you can just click on the button and – presto – a link to that web page will appear on your Wantzit list.
We’ve just improved our bookmarklet so that it works better with all the different browsers out there. Those of you who use Internet Explorer will notice a big difference.
Since there’s no way to upgrade the old bookmarklet once it’s been installed, you’ll need to delete the old one and replace it with the new – it’ll only take a few seconds.

Not only were we happy to see another positive mention of Wantzit in the online media, but we were impressed with the headline: “Wantz.it Turns the Entire Web into Your Wishlist.” That’s true, of course – we couldn’t have put it better ourselves.
So we asked Jason if we could use his headline as a tagline for Wantzit and he graciously agreed. Thanks, Jason!

Did you know that every week we give one of our users a gift from his/her wanzit list? Nothing major (we’re still running this start-up on a shoestring budget) but just a little token of our appreciation.
So, for now, those of you with only Xboxes and Mazeratis on your lists will have to remain exempt. But for those of you who are adding things in the t-shirt or dvd range : keep an eye on your email – you just may get a pleasant surprise one of these weeks. Just like Ashley in Massachusetts did last week – her gift is already in the mail.
The next selection is this Wednesday. And then the next Wednesday. And then the next… and the next… and the next…
You get the idea. You could also get a gift someday.

Go to your profile page and click on the “+” along the row of tabs:
A drop down menu will open revealing a list of available tabs – click on the “W” icon next to the word ‘Wishlist’.
You, my friend, are now the proud possessor of a bone fide wishlist tab in your Facebook profile.
Piece of cake, no?
Here’s how it’ll look:

Christmas is only a month away – time to start getting your wish list in order.
In accordance with our policy of giving away cool free stuff to our users whenever possible, we’ve created a very cool online Advent Calendar, so you can count down the days ’til Christmas with a new surprise each day. It’ll be up and running on December 1st.
